أضاف تأثير استراتيجية صفر كوفيد على سلاسل التوريد مزيدًا من التعقيد على قطاعاتٍ عديدة. لدى الحديث عن سلسلة التوريد، لاتزال استراتيجية “صفر كوفيد” في الصين تثير دهشة بعض صناع السياسة. حيث قال عضو مجلس إدارة بنك اليابان تويواكي ناكامورا Toyoaki Nakamura إن استراتيجية الإغلاق الصارمة الصينية قد تتداخل مع النمو العالمي من خلال إطالة فترة اضطرابات سلسلة التوريد.

الخدمات اللوجستية Just-in-Time

من جهةٍ أخرى، تمرّ الخدمات اللوجستية Just-in-Time (اختصارًا JIT)، التي كانت رائدة في تويوتا منذ 60 عامًا، بأوقات عصيبة في جميع أنحاء العالم. تتمثل النقاط الرئيسية في لوجستيات JIT في التخلص من المخزون الزائد والتركيز على النقل والإنتاج السريع. منذ ذلك الوقت، أصبح المعيار الذهبي للخدمات اللوجستية، ليس فقط في قطاع إنتاج السيارات، ولكن في أي مؤسسة.

بالعودة للوباء، وخاصة فيما يتعلق بتدابير الإغلاق الصارمة في الصين، تتراجع سلسلة التوريد إلى الوراء وتكاد تتبدد. حيث يؤثر التباعد الاجتماعي وإجراءات الإغلاق والحجر الصحي على تدابير الخدمات اللوجستية JIT (وهو نظام معقد وهش بشكل كبير)، وبالتالي فإن عيبه في الصين يهدد بقية العالم. كما قال ناكامورا “من المحتمل أننا سنشهد نقص في المعروض من رقائق أشباه الموصلات طوال هذا العام”.
